Wellbeing
At our school, student wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. We want every student to feel safe, included and ready to learn. Whether your child needs help with their mental, emotional, social or physical wellbeing, we are here to help them thrive at school and in daily life.
Strive for Five Awards
The awards are cumulative from year to year.
Award Progression
Strive for Five awards are handed out at Friday assembly to students consistently displaying the school values.
Based on student numbers, K-2 teachers will hand out 1 per week and 3-6 teachers will hand out 2 per week.
Earning multiple Strive for Five awards will then qualify a student for a higher award. The teachers will be logging the awards in order to keep track moving from year to year.
- 5 awards earned will receive a Bronze Award
- 10 awards earned will receive a Silver Award
- 15 awards earned will receive a Gold award along with the Strive for Five Badge
- 20 awards earned will receive a Book plus a Certificate
- 25 awards earned will receive the highest honour of a School Medal plus Certificate

We do this through:

- access to school counsellors, school psychologists and specialist staff
- programs that support health, social skills, attendance and positive behaviour
- help for students who are new or changing year levels
- clear expectations for behaviour and respectful relationships
- staff who get to know each child and work closely with families
- developing health care plans for students

- breakfast club
