Our vision: Strive to Achieve
Established in 1916, Brighton-Le-Sands Public School combines a proud tradition with a forward-thinking approach to education. We offer a modern and dynamic Kindergarten to Year 6 learning experience designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and confidence in every child.
Set within spacious, tree-lined grounds, our school provides a welcoming and vibrant environment where students can learn, play and grow. With on-site preschool, before and after school care, and vacation care, Brighton-Le-Sands PS supports families and nurtures a strong sense of community.
Renowned for excellence in academics, the arts, sport and cultural achievement, our school delivers a broad and balanced curriculum that educates the whole child. We foster a love of learning through strong programs in literacy, numeracy, languages, creative and performing arts, physical education, public speaking and debating.
Our dedicated staff work in close partnership with parents to ensure each student achieves their personal best. Through our High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) program, we identify and nurture students’ talents across intellectual, creative, social-emotional and physical domains, providing rich opportunities for challenge and extension. At the same time, our Learning and Support Team (LST) works collaboratively with teachers, students and families to ensure that every learner receives the individualised support they need to thrive.
Together, these programs reflect our commitment to inclusion, equity and excellence—ensuring that every child is known, valued and cared for.
At Brighton-Le-Sands Public School, we are proud to live our purpose:
“To educate our students to be independent, lifelong learners and responsible members of society.”
